The main thing a baby should be getting is formula with the iron and nutrients. As long as your baby is getting 24 ounces a day, in whatever combination it takes. What I did with my kids, and each parent is going to be different, is this schedule:
Breakfast -
oatmeal
8 oz formula
Lunch -
fruit
8 oz formula
Dinner -
veggie
8 oz formula
Add more as long as the formula intake does not reduce. For instance, instead of a 1/4 cup solid go up to 1/2 cup, if the 8 oz formula can still be finished after the solids.
Optional is to slowly start adding morning and afternoon snacks inbetween meals if they get hungry inbetween. Work your way up to 8 oz juice/water mixed for the two snacks with crackers, as they get older.
For now, focus on the three main meals and up the solid intake as long as they're finishing off their full bottles. Every baby will be different so just adjust as you go and don't be in a hurry to change things as long as they're meeting their formula intake and are full. Slowly add more solids as time goes.
