So What Happened?

He told me that he uses general anesthesia so I wouldn't be awake during.

Had this done in January, a number of years ago, and by April, of the same year, the surgery proved to be unsuccessful. Had to have a hysterectomy done but I had 2 wonderful daughters prior to that. The original procedure itself was uneventful. Read up on it and speak with your doctor...just know that not 100% are successful. Good luck!

I've had one. My mother had one. My oldest daughter has also had one. Whether the problems are genetic who is to know. In my mothers day it was a huge undertaking. They cut you stem to stern. You stayed two weeks in the hospital. My daughter was next. A young mother of three hers also had to be abdomanal. There was an incision that they call the bikini cut. They kept her overnight. Mine was done internally. I was kept overnight. If done this way the main problem is you feel terrific in a couple of days with no visible signs of surgery at all. But you MUST remember you've had major surgery and listen to the Dr.

I had one done a few years ago. They found a large polyp, which they removed. I just rested up over the weekend and went to work on Monday. It was a few years back, but I don't think I had any pain with it.

I had this surgery at CRM with Dr. Loy to remove some endometrial tissue...as I was diagnosed with endometriosis as the cause of fertility issues. It was painless. I think I had one valium pill prescribed to curb any anxiety and I highly recommend that. You will be under anesia (sp?) ~ I don't believe it was very long. Everything went without a hitch...just say a little prayer...and you'll be fine. Take Care & God Bless.
A little about me: I have been married 13 1/2 years & have 3 year old b/g twins that are more than a handful right now with potty training :-)

Hi F.
Well, scopy is to look. So I went to www.google.com and typed in that word and found info on it. Doesn't seem too involved. Go ahead and look it up and read about it there.
