I Am Looking for a Great Place to Take My Kiddos on Vacation

We took our first family vacation this past summer to Corpus Christi/North Padre Island. It was great! There are loads of things to do as a family and there are really affordable places to stay right on the beach. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort on North Padre. There is a great aquarium, not to mention the Lexington in Corpus. :)

I went with my 3 girls to San Diego and fell in love. It is beautiful out there. Everywhere you go you can see the ocean. We had such a great time. We dedicated each day to a different activity. One day we did Seaworld. (My girls loved it when they were younger and still love it as teenagers) One day we did Wild Animal Park (amazing ! the animals run free, you feel like you're in Africa)The next day we hung out at Old Town (it feels like you're in Mexico.) There is an awesome carnival style boardwalk on the beach. There is Little Italy, Gas lamp district, Balboa Park, tons of museums, and Legoland is about 30 minutes away. I know you can find an awesome vacation package (I did) and if you buy tickets to these theme parks online you usually get a better price.

We also went to Disney a few years ago and decided not to go to far last spring break.. So we took the kids to Corpus.. We have 3 kids and it was the most fun we have ever had and we didnt spend half of what we spend going to Florida.

There is so much to do there. You can take the kids to Aransas Pass they will love it.. You need to ride in a ferry to get to that little island.. And its freee....LOL Kids will difinitely have fun and you will enjoy yourself too.

I would highly recommend San Diego. There is a ton of stuff to do there with kids. You've got the San Diego Zoo, The Wild Animal Park, Legoland, Scripps Aquarium, Balboa Park. The weather will be nice and it's a beautiful place.
