I Am Seeking a Playgroup or Moms Club in Deltona

I am also a stay at home mom. I just moved here from MI and I would love to start a play group. My daughters are 1yr and 3yrs. Not exactly the same age as yours but I'm sure they would get along. My 3yr old loves to meet with other children and play and I would like her to learn to play with others. Also I could use some adult company. Hello ladies, I just happened to stumble upon this posting and was surprised that so many of you had not found a local play group. I organize the Smartie Pants Friendship Club. We are based out of Deltona in which most of our members also live in the immediate area. Our group offers activities for infants through teens, Moms and Dad's events as well as couple and family events. You can check us out through this link. I know it's been a few months but I would love to be apart of a playgroup. My daughter is 21months and outgoing. I don't get to do much with her but would like to try and be apart of a playgroup for her, whenever my time permits. Let me know if you and the other Mom's are still interested.

Hi..I don't know if you ever found a playgroup but I would like to find one also...my daughter is going to be 3 this month. I am a stay at home mom. I don't want to put my daughter in preschool or daycare either yet. My daughter could also use interaction with other kids. I live in Deltona too.

Hi A.... I live in Deltona and unfortunately haven't heard of any playgroups. BUT... I would be open to "creating" one. Although I work downtown and my daughter did start a daycare, I am open to meeting other mommies with a child my age. My daughter turned 2 in June, my son is 11 (a little past playgroup age) and I have a 3rd baby (a girl) on the way in November. I was fortunate to have my mom nearby for Emma's first 2 years and I paid her to care for her. She, unfortunately is in Lakeland for a few months caring for her dying brother.

I digress... Emma is a playful child but still somewhat shy around others. A playgroup would be a great idea. See if any other mommies respond and we can go from there.
