I CAN Feel My Baby at 13 Weeks (Second Pregnancy)

I've felt the baby a few times within the last few weeks. I know my Doctor seemed a bit skeptical when I mentioned to him that I could've swore I felt the baby at even 11 weeks, but now I'm completely positive!!!!! I felt my sweet peanut because he/she was smushed against my belly last night and you could see and feel the bump where the baby was. I am not feeling movements or kicks (aka quickening) as of yet, but I've DEFINITELY felt the baby push itself against my stomach on a few occasions. It usually happens at about 2-3:30 in the a.m., which must be his/her active time. It's so amazing to feel it so soon. But I KNOW without a doubt, that is indeed what I am feeling. I woke my hubby up last night so he could feel it too, and he also said it was the baby. So either I'm just more sensative to the movements, as I've been told is normal when it is your second pregnancy (and of course for those in the 3rd or 4th and so on) or we could possibly be having twins, lol. I have twin uncles and older twin sisters so it's a possibility. We won't know until the Doctor initiates an ultra sound, which at this point is 20 weeks or so, but if I measure big or something else comes along they'll schedule one sooner. So we'll have to wait and see what blessings we have in store for us.
I'm so elated, I just HAD to share!!!

Anyone else feel the baby sooner as well? If so, what was your experience? Multiples, or just more sensative to the movements? Just curious.

I felt my second baby around that time, too. We're more aware of what to feel the second time around, so it's entirely possible!

I have heard that after the first, you feel it sooner because you know what it feels like. I felt my son for the first time at 16 weeks (my only pregnancy). It is supposed to be earlier with future pregnancies because in your first you probably just ignore it or think it is gas or something, not knowing what it feels like. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Have you heard the heartbeat yet? If they have checked that yet, 2 heartbeats would probably be picked up for twins... but not always! Hope you have a great pregnancy!

Congratulations! I have two little ones also. With my first (girl) I didn't feel her until 21 maybe 22 weeks. With the second (boy) I felt him kick very hard at 15 weeks! I was so surprised because I was driving at the time and almost hit someone at the stop light when it happened! I think 13 weeks could be possible especially since during my pregnancy they moved my due date up by two weeks through the course of the pregnancy which means I should have been at 13 weeks but they said I was 15 weeks. Perhaps this means you are having a boy:) Actually I think that women just feel the baby more the second time around (maybe because we are all stretched out inside already?). I know that I showed a lot earlier with the second one as well. With the first, I didn't start having to buy bigger clothes until 5 1/2 maybe 6 months and with the second, my clothes were tight at 3 months. Good luck and congratulations again.

For my 2nd pregnancy I also felt the baby move at 13 weeks! So exciting! No multiples, though :)

I felt my current baby (31 weeks right now) at 14 weeks this time, and it was big bumps and jumps, so I would think that you would be able to feel yours at 13.

I could feel my baby move really early too.. but everyone tried to convince me it was just gas! I think if the baby is positioned just right.. you can feel it because it presses against organs and stuff.

It's pretty cool! I loved that part of being pregnant!
