I Can't Stop Rhyming

Well, not having given it much thought One Fish, Two Fish, Pink Fish, Blue Fish OR Thing One, Thing Two, Thing Pink, Thing Blue, comes to mind on a personalized notepad with baby related art work or pink and blue dots along both sides. These are approx 4X6 in size , 60 sheet note pads for $5.oo ea, $4.50 if not personalized.
No web site due to copy infringement but I would be happy to send you a booklet of characters. Call me if you are interested in discussing other ideas.

I had a Dr. Seuss baby shower, so here is what mine was like. My sister-in-law hosted it and she is very crafty and creative. For the ceter pieces, she got some glass fish bowls and painted the one fish, two fish theme on them. She also bought some flower pots and striped them red and white to look like the Cat in the Hat, hat. She also made copies of the fish, the cat in the hat and other Dr. Seuss characters and cut them out and stuck them on the ends of pencils and put them inside the pots and bowls. (She had cut a styrofoam ball in half and put it inside the pots and bowls so the pencils stood up).

I looked up some thank you poems and this is what I found. Some are kinda cheesy, but it can atleast get you thinking.

While we are waiting
for Baby's debut.
We wanted to write
and say thank you
for the lovely gift
and being a great friend.
The shower would not have been as fun
if you did not attend.

Daddy says thank you, too.
Baby will say thanks I'm sure
right around when he/she turns two.

This sounds sooo cute! Of course you have all of us thinking about 1 Fish 2 fish and I love the fishbowl centerpiece ideas! Green eggs and ham (quiche) could be very good! Also, love "Put me in the Zoo" and Are you my mother?" with little bird nests... really cute theme!

What a cute idea! You could do fishbowls as center pieces, or even the tall red and white hats(they sell them at party city) with balloons. I think what I would do is get a hard cover copy of each book and stand them upright and tie ballons to them. So if you have 7 tables, get 7 diff. seuss books and stand them up as centerpieces.

As for the thank you's, you don't even have top rhyme. You could just print out cardsa that have teh cat in the hat, or any other character on it and let your friend write the thank yous.

For favors, I would do chocolate bars, but print out your own wrappers. Use the same picture on the wrappers that you will use on the thank yous.
