So I did it!! For those of you who saw an earlier post, I did the NYC 5 borough bike tour yesterday and I am so glad I did. It was alot of fun, and I managed to complete the whole thing (about 42 miles) in 5 hours (I took breaks!). This was my longest bike ride so far. I'm really proud of myself for doing this, and I'm looking forward to doing more, and getting more fit and active.
Anyone else have a good weekend?
Or anyone else meet a goal recently?

What can I do next?

Good for you! 42 miles...holy cow! I bet you are sore today.
I am working on being more active in my free time and trying to get the kids and hubby more active as well. I am also training for a big running race in June. Yesterday I went on a 6 mile hike/run up the canyon, even though my friend canceled on me. I was really proud of myself for going anyway and for running as far as I did. It ended up being glorious. The views were phenomenal and I felt great all day. Last night I convinced the kids to go on a long bike ride to check out a new park and we rode 4 miles.
I keep joking that I am on my way to becoming one of those Utahns I used to "hate"- the ones with a bike rack and a bunch of Ragnar Relay stickers on their car, those types of people who always have a smile plastered on their face because they just got back from climbing a mountain or kayaked to and from work ;) It feels good, though!

Wow! I did that so many years ago - thanks for bringing back great memories! :) Do they still go over the Verrazano bridge? I remember that being an endless climb into the wind.
