I Need a Little Beauty Advise

My complection is kind of red. I't not break outs (I break out occasionly) but just a redness on my cheeks mostly maybe a little on my nose and chin. I used concealer for years and recently realized that my face seemed red covered with cakey make up. So after being on vacation and kind of getting a tan/burn I stopped wearing the concealer all together. I have suprised myself that I have been able to go without it. It's not really bad but definatly bugs me. I want to know what to do. Should I be cleansing diffently? Is there a product for redness? I am tired of the make up and covering it up I want it to go away!

Also, if anyone has some good tips, face products, should I be using a wrinkle cream at 27? I want to start taking better care of my skin.

What can I do next?

If your doctor says it's rosacea check out rosacea.com for products and info. I have the same thing as you and found that a good product line helps. I currently use CLinque and Bare Minerals. I haven't found anything to take it away, but these products have lessoned the redness. I've heard that Fotofacial works well, but have not been able to afford it yet.

Hi D.,
It does sound like rosacea. I would recommend going to the dermatologist as there are many topical treatments for this. I have a friend that has it, and she looks terrific now, can't tell she has rosacea.
As far as wrinkle cream, I always try different stuff. I think the key is to JUST use something that is good for your face. For example, anti-wrinkle cream on around eyes as well as a face cream for daytime/nighttime.
Good luck.

HI D.,

Did you find your product? I represent a new all natural skin care company that has a natural whitner. It is fantastic and has been making such a different on people's skin. I suffer from this as well, by the way.
Check out my site at www.isxperia.com/S.

We are also looking for more distributors if you know of anyone interested in earning extra income.

You may want to check with a dermatologist to see want he recomends. I have heard products with soy help to smooth out patchy skin, it may help with redness.

Hi go just from your discription it sounds like you have rosacea. You could just go to the doctor and he could give you a prescription that you could just put on.

This could be rosacea, you might want to talk to a doctor about it and see if they can give you something for it. As for cleansing, I talked to a professional cosmetologist and she told me that we should cleanse twice a day and follow with a moisturizer and sunscreen. It all boils down to finding the product that is right for you.

D.,

I have a similar problem. I use and highly recommend Eucerin's Redness Relief line. They're products are dermatologist tested and recommended. The "Soothing Night Creme" works great even after one treatment. The "Daily Lotion" is basically a light foundation which didn't work so well for me, turning my redness maroon. However at the time, I was pretty red and it may work for lighter redness.

Hope this helps,

T.
