I am 31 years old...looking for a multi-vitamin to take daily. I tried Women's One A Day a while back and I could not take it. It made me sick within minutes of taking it. Can anyone suggest a good one for women that won't make me sick?! And where do you buy it?

What can I do next?

I also suggest that whatever vitamin you decide to take you take in after a meal, that will prevent GI distress.

We use Oligo. You can only purchase directly from Melaleuca. If you want additional information, let me know.

Try Shaklee brand. (I don't sell them.) They are very reputable, and maybe they don't have the stuff that made you sick in theirs...

I like Nordic Berries. You can get them at Whole Foods or Amazon. They are formulated for kids so they never upset my stomach. I take additional supplements but this is a good basic one.

Some will get the vapors from this but I, *gasp*, don't take a multi. I drink nettle tea and it is an excellent source of vitamins that your body can actually use. Plus, it's super cheap! :) I use the Altavita brand and you can get Nettle tea in most health food stores (or natural section of many grocery stores), but I buy online at www.vitacost.com

The reason the One A Day made you sick is because it is a synthetic vitamin and your body does recognize it. I have been taking Juice Plus+ for the past 4 years and feel great. JP+ is the largest selling whole food nutritional supplement and the most thoroughly researched. It is proven through clinical research in top medical journals to boost the immune system, decrease DNA damage and improve cardiovascular wellness among many other things to keep us very healthy. We just don't get enough raw fruits and vegetables every day. JP+ helps to bridge the gap. You want to get your vitamins from real food as it is bioavailable meaning your body knows exactly what to do with it. Please feel to check out my website (lswiftjuiceplus.com) and call me should you want to learn more. There is a great video that will educate you on the product and the company. In addition, children go free under a sponsoring adult (childrenshealthstudy.com) It is safe, affordable and extremely effective. My family hasn't been sick in the 4 years that we have been on Juice Plus+.

Go to a very reputable health food store.

Also, I would suggest that you go to a nutritionist or dr and have your blood tested. I did. The ONLY thing I was low in was vitamin D.

I do eats lots of raw, organic veggies, beans, fruit, raw nuts and a protein drink by Sun Warrior.

A multivitamin for me... would not have been a gd choice.

I have been taking these for years, they come in liquid and chewable, also have probiotics and all kinds of extras added. I had restless leg syndrome and can take one before bed and I don't have it anymore, no side effects either, and I sleep better. http://www.GBGisIT.com Good luck!

I take these and I also get them from Amazon. My heathfood store carries them but it's easier to get them off Amazon.

Love them btw!! Read the reviews.
