I was "terminated" from my job today. I need a job that allows me to work between the hours of 7:00 to 3:30p.m. I can start earlier if necessary but not later. I was working as a title examiner. I can do customer service, data entry, computer work, web design.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
My husband manages a title company, and they are laying off people as well. It's scary times in the field, no thanks to the reinstatement of proposal 4050....your best bet is to get into something new. A lot of companies have gone out of business, and times look to be tight for the next several years until the market changes. I suggest pursuing your web design skill, and I wish you the best of luck.
These aren't in your line of work but may be able to get you employed sooner than later. I know Jewel/Osco stores pay well and pay benefits at only working PT and can be flexible. I've known several people through the years who've worked for them and who've had nothing but good things to say about them. Also, Starbucks is another that's deemed a top company, I think it's actually on the Forbes list. Pay is good, benefits, school reimburstment, they open early and there's room for growth. Banks are going up everywhere, a teller's position, as that other gal mentioned, is a good idea too. That's all I can think of now. The market stinks so I wish you all the best.
I work as a teller, and the hours are flexible. Pay is decent. I know National City starts their tellers at 6:45 am.
