Well, at least he is eating SOMETHING. I guess for now you can just puree your own fruits and vegetables until he decides he wants to try tablefood. Mine let me know he was ready by turning his head at jarred food and reaching out to grab what was on my plate.
Puree your own food and gradually start blending them up less and less. Blended spagetti is a good one. Well, I didnt actually put it on blend, I'd put it in the blender on chop until the pieces were itty bitty.
I have yet to see a baby who can resist sweet potato so steam your own sweet potato, then chop it up and blend it for him with a little butter. Then the next time, leave some lumps in it. You can do the same with regular yukon pottaoes and add some cheese and cooked green beans before blending. You can even throw in corn and ground beef and top with a lil gravy to make it a mashed pie. :)
My son hated stage 3 foods as well. They're pretty gross so its understandable.
The good news is that he won't be 18 and eating baby food! Eventually your son will start trying out table food. He is only 1 afterall. And they grow so fast at this stage that I bet in 3 more mos he'll be eating table food like a pro. :)
