Can you file for unemployement until you can find something? Go to a temp agency to see if they can fit you in your field or another field.

I can imagine how you feel I was like that once, if only I had this opportunity of owning my own business back then, I wouldn't leave my children to anyone else's care but mine. Ooh, I was such an angry person when I was 22 years old, because I have 3 children to take care of and I lost my job from a downsize 1983 was the year and this was in the islands where I came from, which everything was so expensive. For now the best thing you can go for is the temporary job because the job vacancies are now being frozen due to this recession, come to think of it even Ford will be laying off a lot of their employees according to the news yesterday. Hi! So sorry for your current difficulties. Husbands can be funny, can't they? They want you home but they also want the income we bring in!
