Trust me, you'll know! For me it was easy to see and it was also harder to crunch up my toes becasue everything was so swollen.

I hope you don't have to deal with any swelling...it is not pretty or fun!

With me, I would get up in the morning and as soon as my feet hit the floor you could feel the "pressure" when standing or walking on them. Cut back on salt and see if that helps.

Put your feet in some snug but comfortable shoes that you wore pre-pregnancy and see if they fit to snug for comfort. I don't wear jewelry, but most women do. Do you have a ring that fit snug pre-pregnancy? Can you get it on now without being forceful? Don't force it on, it my not come back off.

If you are swelling at your feet/ankles, take your thumb and put a little pressure where it looks swollen, if your thumbprint stays like an indentation for a second or two, its swollen. Its called edema, personally I think its so gross, I envy any pregnant woman that doesn't get that, lol. I noticed that when I am on my feet all day or even for a few hours STRAIGHT my ankles will be swollen. Keeping your feet level with the rest of your body helps. Whenever you sit put yoour feet up to at least waist level also.

Oh, you will know! Unfortunately, it can happen really fast. Keep your feet elevated as much as you can and rest. Drink lots of water and don't stress. Though swelling can be signs of pre eclamsia, it doesn't mean it always will concur together.

Good luck. Enjoy your new little one.

Not everyone gets super swelling, but around this time in my pregnancy I did have to go out and get a pair of slip on crocs one size larger than I usuallyl wear! Throughout the last trimester I always made a point to get off my feet a lot and to put them up whenever I thought about it. Water helps too. If you feet suddenly balloon a ton, I think you should check with your doctor ! Congrats and enjoy the last bits of your pregnancy.

Itchy feet and hands can be a symptom of something else. Itching doesn't usually go along with swelling. I'd check with your doctor.

i can tell by looking at them, they they are not the same size anymore. Plus when i put on my sandals or shoes, they just don't fit right anymore. If you had small toes, look there. I used to see space in between my toes and can't anymore. When walking i can feel added pressure on my feet. it hurts to walk too much, since my ankles are swollen as well.

My first pregnancy i had none of the swelling at all. this time, I swelled up on 2 different weekends because of being on my feet so much, but keeping them elevated for a few days help to bring the swelling down. Then about 2 weeks ago they swelled up and the swelling hasn't gone away. i will say it definatly helps to drink a TON of water. I was told the only thing to help me now is having my baby. Which I am not past due, and just waiting for him to either come, or the doctors to induce.

Good luck.
