In - Home Daycare for My 1 Yr Old

I have a small group that I am just starting up at my home in McKinney. It's off of 121 and Lake Forest so I'm not sure if that would be out of your way or not. I have @ 12 years experience in childcare (all at my children's daycare) which I just left because I decided I wanted to stay at home with my new baby. I would love to talk with you more and maybe you guys could come over and meet us. We are a very down to earth, friendly family and I assure you that your little girl will never lack any love or attention while she's at our house. I believe that physical and emotional affection is what makes up a big part of a child's self image and confidence in themselves as grown-ups. I completely understand what you are talking about as far as costs. I do not have any set price guide, I am willing to be flexible depending on your capabilities. I'm not doing this to get rich, I just want to contribute a little since my wonderful husband has found a way for me to finally be able to stay at home with my children. I do not plan to keep any more than 4 total (that's including my two who are 4 and 2 months). I am speaking with a couple more mothers at the time, but I do have a soft spot for single mothers (I was one for a long time before I married my husband, and I grew up in a house with a single mom) so I know how hard it truely can be. So just give me a hollar if this sounds like it might work for you!

I know you are probably scared having to find a good childcare provider. I wanted to let you know about my self. I am a mother of a 2 yr little girl. I too was scared when I was faced with the decision of day care. I decided to quit my current job as an optometrist tech and I worked at a day care center so I could be with my daughter. Things were great for a while then we both began getting sick. I could not handle being around some of the other teachers. They fought and argued in the classroom in front of the children. There was allot of things going on that the parents were not aware of, and I did not want to be apart of. After many prayers my husband and I decided that I would stay home and open up our home for other children to have a safe and loving environment to play and learn. I have been watching children at home for a little over a year and it has been great. I do have an opening coming available starting the Tuesday after Memorial Day. Like I said my daughter is 2yrs, and I care for a little boy that is 17mo, boy-14mo, girl-8mo. I am listed with the state to provide in home childcare and I am CPR and first aid certified. I would be glad to have you over if you would like to meet with me and see the playroom and go over any questions you may have. We just moved to McKinney from allen to provide the kids with a bigger play area. We are now in the Brookstone community at McKinney Ranch and Ridge Rd. That is about a mile north of 121 and east of Alma.
