I am wanting to get a new umbrella stroller, but don't want a cheap one like I had before and also don't want to spend too much money. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

I passed on the Maclaren b/c it didn't have a great basket and no cup/snack tray for baby. I went with the Combi Savona. It's light, and works great for us. I got mine on ebay - new in box for 69.99 plus $19 shipping. We are very pleased with it. Most Combi's do not have snack/drink holder for baby or drink holder for mom, but this one does.

I am wondering the same thing...I have researched Jeep [which is $40.00 on Target.com & WalMart.com], looks cute, but a little 'chincy'. Looks like the next step up will run about $60.00 or so...I look on BabyCenter.Com , EBay.Com , search engines Ask.com , amazon.com, & bizrate.com

I'm telling you...those Chicco, Maclaren, and Britax ones look sweet, but darn, way too much for my budget now.. >:O(

I can understand not wanting to spend too much $$$, however, if you want a good one and is "reasonable" for what you get go Maclaren. I got mine new on Ebay for $130.00 and I love it. It has taken us through Montreal, Disney, Sea World, and many other destinations. Good Luck.

I paid $100 and bought the Volo Stroller by Maclaren from Babies R Us... I had 3 different ones (used that I'd borrowed) for my 1st kiddo...and hated them ALL. This one is made of mesh material so he's not hot and sweaty...it has a basket beneath it big enough for a small diaper bag and whatever I carry with me... it has a retractable canopy ... folds with one hand and opens with one hand... maneuvers great and has a carry strap that I can just throw it over a shouolder when we're on the go. My son is also quite comfortable in it.. I'd recommend it to anyone! ;)

While it's not the cheapest one... it's definitely the best and I figure if I have anothe rone... I know it will last, otherwise, I know I'll get a good return on selling the used one on e-bay or at a consignment sale. All in all, to me, it's worth the few extra bucks to get one that will last and that is an A+ in all the categories I need/want one in
