I am going back to work soon (and so very sad about it). I have been trying to pump but my supply seems really low! Has anyone tried those cookies with the brewers yeast to increase supply? If so, did they work and where do you find brewers yeast?
Thanks guys and Happy Holidays!!! :)

What can I do next?

Brewer's yeast can be found at a health food store. As for increasing your milk supply, rest and lots of liquids are the best way. There is a mother's milk tea that you can probably find at the health food store as well.

Drink lots of water, eat lots of oatmeal and fenugreek.
Pump and nurse as often as you can.

Non-alcoholic beer works really well too. The heavier the better!

Make sure you read about it first. I was surprised to read that fennel seed was used for increasing breastmilk and then kept reading and am confused by why wiki closed with:

Breastmilk
There are historical anecdotes that fennel is a galactagogue,[19] improving the milk supply of a breastfeeding mother. This use, although not supported by direct evidence, is sometimes justified by the fact that fennel is a source of phytoestrogens, which promote growth of breast tissue.[20] However, normal lactation does not involve growth of breast tissue. A single case report of fennel tea ingested by a breastfeeding mother resulted in neurotoxicity for the newborn child.[21] [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fennel]

A guess it was only a single case and too much of anything is not good.

When I returned to work and was breastfeeding, I found that I just had to learn to relax.
