I don't know if its a cold or allergies but my 3 mo daughter is having trouble breathing w/her nose... it sounds like all kinds of snot in there, but even w/drops nothing really comes out. It's like it stuck way up there. I'm having the same thing along w/sore throat. wondered if there's any ideas other than humidifier while she sleeps.

What can I do next?

This might sound weird, but breast milk has amazing healing properties and can be used for all sorts of things. Try using this instead of the regular drops you've tried. I've used it in the past to clear up stuffiness.

My daughter was stuffy from birth but came to find out she had reflux. I'm sure it's not that, just relating the stuffiness. As much fun as it's not, we used saline nasal drops that you squirt up their nose. You could also try propping her up when she sleeps. Hope these ideas help!

It maybe allergies and her sinuses are draining but not out, just down her throat. Sounds like you may be having the same thing going on.
When my mold allergies flare up I usually end up with a sore throat because the drainage makes my throat raw.
Cold mist humidifier is great for just congestion but if she has a little touch of allergies will not take care of it. Need to check with the doctor on that.
Seasonal allergies are in full swing. Do you have your Air Conditioner on to help keep out the pollens and molds? That might help if it is seasonal allergies.

God Bless,
S.

I've had really good luck with Vicks vapor rub for infants (there's one specially formulated for babies). It may sound silly but I put it on my baby's feet really thick and put her socks on so it doesn't get all over. I've also used it on her chest but for some reason putting on her feet really helps, especially with a cough too. I've also put a small wedge under her crib mattress to give her a slight incline as she sleeps. Obviously using extra care as adding things to the crib can be dangerous. Good luck, I hope it clears up quickly!
