I use Oxyclean for everything. It has even removed grease from my husbands work clothes. I soak the messy clothes in a bucket with the Oxyclean and water for a few days and then dump the whole bucket in the washer and wash it.
My daughter got a hold of a ball point pen and heavily marked up her shirt. I treated the ink stains with Spray N' Wash but they've hardly faded after washing. Does anyone have any good pointers on how to remove ink stains from clothing?

I agree with the pp's. Hairspray will get out the ink. Good luck!
Second the hairpray, aquanet works great. Ink's the only reason I even buy hairspray.
Use aresol hairspray like aquanet or rave, get real close to the stain and spray it heavily, the ink will come out right away, then wash it like usual.
Hi E.,
I use aerosol hairspray and it works like a charm! It works best if you use it before you wash the clothing though. I haven't found ANY other spot treater that works like hairspray. Good luck!

Alcohol. The stronger the better (rubbing doesn't cut it). I usually use vodka.
soak in the alcohol for 20 min then pretreat and wash.
Use any carbonated soda-- I prefer club soda or 7up types
( beer or coke work too). Place the stained fabric over a container, pour the bubbly liquid through the stain. Repeat until stain disappears. Soda is cheaper than vodka and I promise it works, even on old stains.
