I use SBC Yahoo DSL and love the service, but my rates are about to increase greatly. I am at the end of my year-long special rate and am shopping around for other options. I really want to avoid dial-up service as it ties up my phone line and it takes forever to connect.
I just wanted to see what other options you use that might help a stay-at-home mommy of two save some money!

Jennifer, call SBC and tell them that your contract is about to expire and that you want to get the best new rate possible. They are only too happy to keep their customers and will probably offer you a great rate. I have done this twice when my annual contracts have expired and both times got deals that were as good as I had before or better. Good luck! N.
When my special deal ran out, I called them up and told them that I wanted it again and they gave it to me.
we have comcast and are greatly pleased. They tend to be a little expensive, but great service. check them out!
Mine went up last month! I called and complained cause I didn't realize my contract was over. Anyway, they said that I could cut off service and turn it back on again and get the 14.99 DSL rate. in the end they just gave me the rate and I didn't even cut it off. Hope nobody from there reads this! LOL

Also look into Verison, I just switched to them and love it! I changed over my phone, internet and cable and ended up saving almost 100 a month and getting more bang for my buck!
I use Charter. Because I have internet through them it is highspeed broadband which is faster than DSL. And since I have broadband I have my phone through my internet connection with broadband which saves me a ton of money cause after taxes I only pay about $30 a month for my phone services which includes unlimited local calling and long distance, call waiting, caller ID and ALL the other features that you usually have to pay more for. I also didn't have to put a deposit down or do a credit check or anything for it.(www.vonage.com) Hope that helps!
We switched to Vonage at the beginning of this year and have saved over $65 on each phone bill. Plus we use cable for our internet which gives us faster service and does not interfer with the phone line.
