Hey, I'm asking this question for someone I know that wants other mama's opinions. When it comes to her period she say she gets symptoms of being pregnant. She also said that her period was like an orange color. Should she take a pregnancy test? Just wondering..

What can I do next?

She should probably see a doc, they can test her there and talk to her about her symtoms. If she doesn't have a doc then ask her to try to get to a doc in the box.

I would if I were you to feel the knowing if you're pregnant or not! I remember I had my period for one hour! And I thought it was strange! Then, I thought to myself, maybe its irregular period. So, I ended up taking a home pregnancy test a few weeks later and I was pregnant! I ended up being 2 months preg. I did not have any symptons through my pregnancy! Thank god! I guess I was considered lucky! If you are not sure, I would to be safe! If for some reason, I would just check with your doctor as well! Its the safest way to know and feel little better knowing about it! It must be driving you crazy not knowing what is the reason! Go see your doctor and double check with the doctor. Good Luck!

It wouldn't hurt to get one just in case. I have never heard of a period being and orange color. I wonder if there is something to worry about there. I would just in case.

It's best to test if she's not sure. I had what I thought was a normal period and the next month I bled for about an hour stoped next day the same thing two days later it happened again so I figured I better check. Sure enough I was pregnant, but when I got my ultrasound I found that I was a month further along than we thought. Apparently that first "normal period" wasn't a period after all. As for the orange blood, that doesn't sound like period blood. If it's kind of brownish then it's probably old blood. Other than that I wouldn't know.

I'd say if she thinks she might be pregnant and wants to know, then take a test. At least she'll know for sure and for only a few bucks. :)

It definitely wouldn't hurt to take a test, but no matter what the results are, I would still see a Dr. because even if it's negative there could be any number of problems that cause her symptoms.

I took a test the day before my period was due and it was negative. The next day I had light bleeding for 2 days and then it stopped. Unusual for me...iusually start light ,have a normal day and then starst to taper off. I took another test 2 days after my period ended and I was 3 weeks pregnant. If your unsure take a test!
