In college, I worked at Jenny Craig.
Its clients, was a very wide range of people... and many that were referred to the JC program, by their Doctors. People who had weight problems, or health problems, and breastfeeding Moms too. They have special menu plans, for vegetarians, breastfeeding Moms and Diabetics. For example.
It incorporates, a menu, exercise and weekly meetings with your Consultant, which is only about 15 minutes.

Now, I don't know if the program is still the same, as when I worked there many years ago.
So, but when I did work there, this is how it was.
The program is good and was successful for many people.
The food does taste good. It is already prepared, thus it is easy.
It incorporates daily meals and snacks, throughout the day.
But like anything... it is the person themselves, that has to WANT to, do it. You need your personal motivation and discipline about it.
The reason people 'fail'... is because they did not do what they are supposed to.
