Yeah, but only in my car, because it's old and noisy and drowns out my not-so-great singing voice. I also dance in my car if the music is really moving me (upper body only). I don't really care whether strangers notice; I'm just feelin' good!
In keeping with the light spirit of mamapedia today, I'll pose another JFF question. I was just driving home from work, stopped at a stoplight, looked over, and there was a woman singing her heart out!! I was so inspired, I smiled to myself, flipped on my ipod, and sang until I got home, and I didn't care who saw me! Do you sing out loud in your car?
I love how contagious singing can be! And I'd rather see someone singing than picking their nose. LOL!

you betcha!
i've heard a few people comment here and there about how much they hate it when they see someone belting it out in their car or doing laundry or whatever. i don't get it. it always delights me and yeah, i do it a lot myself!

Oh yea, I sing because I love to sing and I sing with my kids in the car or husband etc. I really don't care if anyone sees me. Its my stress reliever and makes me a much happier mommy and wife---so my hubby understands and my kids love it- they sing with me! You should live your life the way you want to and if you want to sing, sing your heart out~ :) Thanks for posting an uplifting question!

In the car and at home and I don't care who sees me. My kids laugh at me but I so do not care! My newest favorite song to belt out is Katy Perry's 'Firework'...I think all kids should know the words to this song...
~My hubby sings in the shower and to me in the car too, I love it..I think it is so cute ;)
I sing for the sheer joy of it. My 3 year old hates it (and I can carry a tune so I don't know why) but my baby loves it. I had to sing on the way home from the grocery store this weekend to keep the baby from crying all the way home.
Hell yes I do..everytime I am in the car.
I do all sorts of silly things. I'll sing a rock song like an opera singer, or a kids song as Jazz, I will belt it out at the top of my lungs, even make up words if I don't know them.
I can't carry a tune, but I have heart! ;)
absolutely! We used to sing with the kids in the car when they were little too. They loved Old McDonald and Yellow Submarine for car singing!
Yes, in my car or at home. But when I am practicing or performing with the choir at church I get all self-conscious :(
I sing only in my car! But I really sing! And I'm terrible, so it's even more fun! And when I was younger, I cared if someone saw me..I don't care now! I'll never see these people again!
I sing in my car all the time. I sing at home alone all the time. I sing cadence when I run (rare these days, but I still sing it to myself when I do).
However: I have a terrible voice in a family that all has perfect pitch (including me... I can't *reproduce* the right sounds, but I can sure as hail hear myself sing the wrong ones), many of whom are pro muscians. I LOVE singing, but I only sing when by myself. I'm bad. I mean really, really, bad.
Yep and I talk to myself too..especially on those rough days

Dear Rachael,
I sing when no one is lookign and when ppl arew. Its fun to sing along to the radio and we have karaoke at home. My 6 yr old just yelled at me today b/c I was singing on our walk home after school. She said I was embarrassing her, whatever its fun :)

Yes, I do!
The only safe place is the car and I think I am a Rockstar! :)
I spare the rest of the world the rest of the time! Ha
I totally sing out loud, bop my head and have an all around good time!
Lol.
Only when I am trying to entertain, cheer up, block out (when crying) or annoy (when whining) my kids. ;)
Definitely do, my kids hate it when they are with me though, guess I don't have that great a singing voice, but doesn't stop me.
