So I have been invited to a favorite things party! The idea is to bring 4 gifts under 10$, all the same thing...the idea is that it is something that I LOVE! So with that said, what is something for under $10 that you LOVE and either can't live without or just LOVE having it around! I need some IDEAS!

Let's see if you have a favorite kind of lotion or drink or favorite candle. Something like that could be under $10.

A Good loose-leaf tea.
Paperback copies of a wonderful book.
A very good bar of gourmet chocolate. (Hawaiian Black Salt Caramel....mmmm!)
Coffee/tea shop gift card.
Forcing bulbs: if you get four paperwhite bulbs, four nice cups, some decorative rock/pebbles, you can do this for four for under $40 easily. (I'm planting my big glass bowl of paperwhites for forcing today...it's a winter holiday tradition at our house. There are also amaryllis sets which aren't too expensive.

One thing I love, use all the time, and can't live without is a little gadget I picked up at The Container Store. It comes in pretty colors, is just under $10.00 and it is called a "Jar Pop." It opens jars easily by popping the little seal with gentle pressure applied - just an idea for a very practical gift idea!

I LOVE honey roasted almonds from Trader Joes. Gloria Jeans holiday coffee would make my list too.

Bath and Body: great candles, lotions, soft socks, mani/pedi items, and I love the air fresheners you can clip in your car, by the trash can, or in a spot where you want to keep the air fresh.

Hallmark/Barnes & Noble/Etc: box of assorted blank note cards

Starbucks gift cards if someone likes coffee

Gift cards for favorite lunch spots.

Sterling wineries are good and they have a nice Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet for about $9 a bottle if you are at the right place at the right time.

Have fun!

Most of the things I cannot live without are pricier than $10- my phone/ipod, my best blanket, yoga pants. Under $10? Here are my suggestions based on what I love:
Coffee
Red Bull (I know, it is horrid for you...but I love it as a special treat!)
Baked goods or a favorite candy (I would probably pick lemon meltaway cookies from our local bakery)
My Tuneband (holds iphone on arm while I run)
crochet hooks (my most soothing pastime)
Those hair elastics that have a rubber grip around them- I can only find them at one store and I love them!
