Traveling with my only daughter but starting a new job in April had cramped that a bit. I had five weeks vacation and twelve holidays previously and this job takes up waaaay too much time (and she just started college). Love to read, kickbox, do pilates, go to Disneyland, Sea World and the beach. Oh, forgot I'm guilty of some trashy reality shows.

Reading.

Daydreaming (I can do this while doing other things, so I don't focus on it completely).

Running (this is a new hobby for me, and I don't really LOVE running, but it is addicting).

Former hobbies (before kids and work and when I had time and someday hope to find the time again): Sketching, photography, hiking/backpacking, collecting odd things on walks (sticks, rocks, leaves, critters), hunting, fishing, baking, and wandering in used book stores and antique stores.

I scrapbook but not the usual way. I like pictures but not all that junk people put all over the page. My 4.5 year old son has TEN scrapbooks. Yup, he's an only child...

I use to love scrapbooking. My girls are now 7 and 8 and I just don't have the time or urge to do it anymore but feel like I can't just drop it. I've always done my own pages, lots of detail, but am considering never printing pics again and just ordering photo books now and then through sites like kodakgallery.

I love reading but I've had a hard time finding a series (or any single book for that matter) that I enjoyed even half as much as The Twilight Series. Pathetic, I know!!! :)

I love to bake, but only keep small quantities in the house....send most to my hubby's work with him!

I can be quite a couch potato...I'm a lover if reality tv shows (survivor, biggest loser, amazing race, idol, big brother). That's my wind down time after the girls have gone to bed. Thank goodness for DVR (or TiVo)!

I was in to yoga for a while...but like ANY exercise that enters my life, it's exit is eminent! I'd love to give zumba a try though, that looks like fun. But who am I kidding...I'll get 2 wks into it and walk away.

Huh. I sound pretty boring!! Luckily....I'm not bored. :)

I like fitness and cooking......they are oddly combative!. I also really enjoy scrap booking, painting, remodeling, art, bargain hunting and once upon a time i liked racquetball(until they closed the center)

yoga is my new passion, its like meditating and working out at the same time, when im done i feel like a very relaxed version of gumby

I love seeing all the things people do, it gives me ideas of things I'd lime to try. I love reading, running (recently started ), hula hooping ( also recently started, sounds kind if silly but it's actually really fun and a great way to de-stress, added bonus that kids like it too), and baking.

I have always loved to read! I also Snowmobile in the mountains. I enjoy weightlifting and like to be in a routine, but am seriously side-lined by an injury (neck) right now.

I am very involved in my local childcare community and serve on the Executive board for an association I helped start a few years ago. I enjoy it and it also keeps me busy!

- Breaking myself (I'm currently have a shoulder on week 3 of a 6mo surgery rehab, and 2 knees that need replacing, one of which is currently so swollen I can't bend it. Makes walking challenging, and driving impossible, hopefully the swelling will go down by tomorrow. My meniscus is torn in 3 places -has been for 20 years- and it occasionally starts "leaking" and forming Bakers cysts. So. Much. Fun.)

- Reading

- Writing

- Photography

- Sports (a bunch of 'em; swimming, diving, martial arts, shooting, horseback riding, rowing/crew, snowboarding. There are a bunch I can't do, because they aren't availble locally; surfing, polo, etc. ).

((These are NOT how I do #1 on the list. I accomplish breaking myself usually by tripping over dust motes in my living room, or walking into a null gravity zone on the sidewalk, or testing the tensile strength of my stairs walking up them. ))

- Feeding the elephant's child

A week and a half ago they were, Drawing, ballet and educating myself on Politics.

Now it is Occupy 99/Tacoma, drawing, ballet and the educating myself has moved to the front because it is what I am doing with the Occupy group.

I love that I have been able to live and breathe my hobbies.

Before the movement started I was loving getting to be an artist, drawing childrens books illustration...so it is keeping me fresh!!
