I just bought the Jorge Cruise 3 hour diet book (IT IS NOT A 3 DAY DIET!) It is a plan that you eat every 3 hours. I am looking for ideas on what to eat other than what is listed as a guide in the book. I know that there are lists in the back of the book, but I'm just curious what helped you. TIA!

Hi KD,

I'm sorry. I don't want to discourage you. But I just don't believe you can lose weight in 3 days. I think it might work if you stick to the things you did in those 3 days for a long long long time. Losing weight is a habit. It's not a one time deal.

Anyhow, please check out our local fitness, weight loss supporting group

Just had to respond...I had not heard of this diet, but I googled it and it sounds very healthy and very interesting. I'm sorry you got some responses lecturing you about trying to lose too much weight in 3 hours or 3 days (from people who either can't read or don't use common sense, no doubt!).

This sounds like a good idea, and I wanted to wish you luck with it! Let us know how it goes - most of us could use encouragement and a good weight loss story!

I'd like to recommend just doing a regular calorie and percentage of fat/cholesterol type diet. I highly recommend the site www.nutrimirror.com to help. I've lost 11.5 pounds there in three weeks.

I don't know about the three hour diet, but my nutritionest told me, the mid morning and afternoon snacks were not to be any bigger than the palm of my hand , like a piece of left over chicken from the night before, or a small hand full of almonds, or walnuts, fruit or veggies. Of course my meals were to be bigger than that, I could eat a regular meal , it just wasn't supposed to be sugar, or fried, unless it was something sauted with olive oil.

I'm not familiar with this diet, but I do believe losing weight is something you cannot do quickly......and keep it off. I have a healthy plan and can offer support with it. If you have interest contact me.

i don't see anything in that post about 3 days....but onto the point. i do know that alot of diets will use the philosophy of frequent eating to boost the metabolism. so yes, if you stick to it and eat enough calories and exercise and avoid all fad pills, then you should do good.
