Has anyone ever heard of Juice Plus? Can you tell me what you know about it? I want my family to start taking it because I have heard good things, but would like to hear what you all think of it.

What can I do next?

When you juice fruits and vegetables, you loose most of it's nutritional punch. It takes out most of the fiber, antioxidants, and natural health boosters. Most of the research into Juice Plus, is funded by Juice Plus, the distributors, investors, and manufacturers. This is a BIG red flag. Any product that is regarded by the medical industry, has multiple to dozens of independent studies not endorsed by the product. There is NO label on their products. I have never been able to find the ingredients list.

There is a lot of evidence out there AGAINST Juice Plus. It's not necessarily a scam, because it won't hurt you. However, they have ran into a lot of trouble with all their false health benefit claims. You would be much better off going into a natural foods store and getting a vitamin made of Whole Foods. It will be more potent and hundreds of dollars cheaper. On a side note, my sister tried juice plus for an entire year and saw no difference...$500 later.

Better than store brands, but no where near the best.

Loved it but it is TOO EXPENSIVE!!!! After the first year, when I got the kids vitamins for free, I canceled. It was 40.00 month for just me! After I added my husband and kids I was looking at 100.00 month! Since we stopped taking it I have not noticed any difference. I was a distributor and got no benefit from that b/c I am not pushy nor do I like to have parties to push the product. Plus, I was the only one I knew that seemed to care about what they eat :) I also go with the theory that if is so great and would have great health benefits for everyone, then why isn't in the stores? It's more of a pyramid scheme hidden really well to make money for the few instead of benefiting the masses. It's not like Avon, where that is a superficial product w/ no health benefits - plus Avon isn't expensive. I take Alive which is much cheaper w/ the same type of ingredients (fruits & veggies).

I have never heard of it but when I typed in for a search I saw, juice plus then juice plus scam ... not sure but I think like everything that tries to supplement to consumption of food groups (to boost not replace) should be used in moderation. From the quick look I took at thier site it looks l
ike it is just another thing to take daily in the event your diet is not well balanced. Personally, I would not use it I would rather eat the actual fruits veggies myslef. I tend to find desserts that use fruits/veggies as subs in recepies for things like flour, egg, oil etc ... cook yourself thin has some great ones (most are veggie) but you can find them anywhere online.

My MIL did this a few years ago, I thinkit is really good for you. She didn't stick with it so I have no idea about long term advantage. I don't think anything all natural and vitamin packed could be wrong!
