I've been taking it for a couple of years. I don't know that I notice a difference in how I feel, but it makes me feel better when my diet's not the greatest. I haven't given it to my 2 1/2 yr old son because his diet has enough fruits and veggies. HOpe this helps!

Hi Dena,
I would also recommend doing some research. I know people swear by it, but if your kids are pretty good about eating fruits and veggies, they don't really need a supplement like this. Especially the gummies - they're 80% corn syrup! To me, that's not healthy even if there are some vitamins in the remaining 20%. The original study that the Juice+ website touts was small and pretty flawed, and you can find more details about that online.

Most research shows that vitamins and supplements make little to no difference in people with reasonably healthy diets. You can stuff as many vitamins and minerals into a pill as you want, but that doesn't guarantee that they will metabolize the same way or be as helpful as those vitamins and minerals when consumed via real food.

Juice Plus won't hurt you (except maybe all the corn syrup in the gummies), but it's expensive and isn't scientifically proven to help.

my 5 yr old and i have been taking it for 6 months if i remember right. we've been taking the orchard and garden blends. i haven't noticed a reduction in any particular symptoms of my illnesses. i don't necessarily feel better as a result, but my doctor said it is a slower process and 18 months is a more reasonable time frame to expect results. when i started taking the vineyard blend as well, it caused acid reflux, even though normally my reflux is pretty well controlled by prevacid. so my doctor suggested taking the vineyard at a different meal than the other two. that has worked well. one thing i like is that the vitamins in JP are natural. i have recently discovered that some of my symptoms are worse when i take synthetic B vitamins. i hope some of this is helpful to you! good luck!

My aunt tired it for her kids and said she didn't notice any difference in them. She also gave them the gummies but after a while the kids got really sick of them and it got to the point where they hated taking them and didn't even want fruit snacks anymore. So she stopped giving the juice plus to them. She also asked her doc. about it and he said not to worry about it. and that if she still wanted to give her kids a vitamin them just do the flintstones.

I use the juice plus gummies with my children, which im on my last two jars just because we are having to cut back on the budget. It gave me piece of mind that they were getting fruits and veggies but for me it wasn't life saving. They still got the colds and other bugs like all children do. They did really like them though and would ask for them after dinner and got excited for them. If I could keep going with them I probably would but I don't have any it totally cured my child's ezcema or athsma stories.

We have been taking Juice Plus for a couple of years now,I like that my kids both get it free with the health study. We still get sick but I do think it's not as often or as bad. We have had very few Doctors visits for illness and even though my kids do eat healthier than most, you can't get all the right nutrients from the fruits and vegies from the grocery stores because of how they are grown and when they are picked.

I too use the Juice Plus gummies with my son. He loves them.

Yes, the gummies do contain corn syrup, but it is only in order to keep their gummy consistency. It is not a large amount however, and less than 1/8th of what you would find in a can of soda for instance. If it really concerns you, go with the chewables which have no corn syrup in them. Can't speak for whether those are as liked by kids or not however.

Hi, I used to buy the gummies for my 2.5 year old daughter. However, I started using Shaklee for her and my husband and I and I am amazed at how much less often we get sick. I am very impressed with their products. Check out this site if you want. http://www.shaklee.net/healthyselections/product/20002
Good Luck,

I use it and have loved what it has done. I have a more sustained energy through the day and I don't worry if I miss a serving of fruit or veggie. The only problem I had was when I was getting used to the concentrated dose of veggies/fruit. My hands itched like crazy!!!! Weird, but true.

Also, my friends daughter (6 yoa) has been on it for a year now. She has had far fewer sick days!!!

Hi Dena,
I have been taking JP for 6 years my son is a Juice Plus baby and has been on JP his entire life and at 4 he just got his first cold! I have so taken for granted our health and honestly didn't know what to do for a fever. We only go to the doctor for wellness visits. My husband and I just got the sniffles and we were able to fight the cold (flu) off! If you are going to supplement your diet don't you want to know what you are spending your money on?! Have you seen the research on this product? I never felt anything special on JP, but that research tells me all about the prevention happening in my body! I will always take Juice Plus! www.denverjuiceplus.com

You might like the Web site www.quackwatch.org for this question. I often find their articles useful. It's a big site, because they compile a lot of stuff, but it does give you some insight into other people's experiences and what studies have been done.

We love it! We all take it (I also have 2 little ones under 3).

It is great because it is Not a vitamin. It is Whole Food and that is what our bodies need!

Right now I am taking more and so are my kiddos for prevention and protection from the 'cold & flu' season...and so far so good, we are all healthy!

Honestly, Juice Plus+ is the ONLY thing that I have done consistently over the years!

I wouldn't go a day without it!

Stay Well!
