If I could do it over I would probably have invested in a Vitamix before a juicer but your do get a different consistency doing it that way than a juice.
That being said, I have a Breville and enjoy it. Easy to clean and take apart. Over the weekend I made a juice with beets, oranges, carrots and ginger and it was good. I have to get better about juicing greens- I just can't stomach it. But the juicer will come with some recipes and Cherie Calbom has several books and I have this bookmarked for the upcoming cold and flu season http://rethinksimple.com/health/at-home-flu-shots/
One thing to remember is to eat a protein with or within 20 minutes of drinking your juice so your blood sugar doesn't crash.
