Just Curious...How Often Do You Change Your Child's Pajamas?

every night a new pair - no matter the age/weather for us.

I guess I didn't realize that not everyone wears clean jammies every night!

My children shower and have clean jammies everyday.

ETA to answer B.B's question, I have clean jammies every night too, if I'm wearing them that night.

My daughter is 4 and we do clean jammies:

1. After every bath (which right now is just twice a week - it will be more often in the summer when she will get more dirty from playing outside more).
2. Whenever the ones she is wearing get something slopped up on them

Sometimes DD decides she wants a clean set every night, even if the ones she had before are fine. No big deal, we have more than enough! But she also has her favorites that she sometimes wants to wear all the time, and as long as they are relatively clean and it's not a bath night where I insist on her putting on a new, freshly clean pair, she can have them.

"Clean" PJs every night? Wow, a LOT of people on here LOVE doing laundry LOL!!! Not to mention spending a bunch of money on clothes.
We wear ours 3 days or so, depending on the season. No one goes to bed dirty, so how could our PJs get "dirty" honestly?! Unless you're in diapers, of course ;)

Our kids have a bath or shower every night but get new pjs every other night.
Why so often? We shed thousands of skin cells every day and we sweat in the night. Pretty gross if you think about it. :P

my children bathe and get a clean pair of pjs every night, really never thought about doing it any other way.

New jammies every night for us. I agree with jessintexas, I thought everyone did. :)

Every night. Always. After bathtime.

Currently? Nightly. Our 2 yr old drools (c'mon, molars!) and our 5 yr old...well, with a boy who is "too busy to pee" pee drips probably happen more than I care to notice. Plus, they crawl into my bed every morning...and I want them to be clean! lol

Usually every other night.

Out of diapers during the winter - every 3 nights
Out of diapers during the summer - every night

My 4 year old wears a diaper to bed b/c she wets and I just don't trust that some of that smell isn't on her bottoms so we change jammies every day.

We do tubby every night and clean pjs every other day or so, when I do their laundry.

Every night. I wear different pjs almost every night.

This is great to know. I change PJs every night, but after reading all this I am going to every 2-3 nights! thanks

Clean PJs every night but he still is in diapers at night and the usually smell like pee in the morning, so when he gets changed in the morning, they go straight to the laundry chute. Same things for his clothes at night. Laundry chute.

For my 23-month-old, we change her PJs nearly every night, mainly because 1) we have received sooo many as hand-me-downs, so why not? and 2) I don't always trust that her diaper didn't leak just a little. I don't recall being that diligent about it when my son was her age, though, and it could be because he didn't have as many sets of pajamas as she does.

Every night. The kids spend 1/2 of every day in pjs (7pm-7/8am), so I like to give them fresh ones each night.

my 3 & 4 yr old.. every night. But we get up and eat breakfast and usually lunch in our pj's unless we are going somewhere. That way I know their clothes will be clean for school ( they go after lunch) and I wont have to change them 2x.

My 11&12 yr old... once a week.. unless they have an "accident"

My husband and I and our 15 yr old its also about once a week.

When they were babies and up until around 4-ish they got a new pair every night...now that they are older 4, 6 & 8 they take them off put them under their pillow and wear them for 2-3 days then get a new pair.

Babies was every night. At 3 and 6 it is after a bath (every 2-3 nights) or if they are dirty or wet or every night if the kid is sick.

We bathe every night and for the winter we layer the kiddos pjs = usually a onesie and thin tight pj's bottoms, then footy zip up over. So underneath layer is changed every night for my toddler, for the 4 yr old every other night or so. The footy zip ups are as needed.

New pair every night--I am a fanatic about them always having everything clean....and I like to know that everything in their bed is clean (pajamas, sheets, everything)....

We bathed our daughter every night, remember it gets super hot here.. So we changed her PJ's every other night or every 3rd night..

sometimes in the summer if she was super sweaty.. yes even with a ceiling fan and air conditioning, We changed them every night.

Every night. I like clean pj's each night and so do my kiddos :) Every once in awhile, we do every other night. But usually its nightly.

We do bath night every other night - unless one is needed in between (day at park, zoo, etc) and we put clean jammies on after every bath =)

If they are sick, new PJ's every night for 3 days after. If healthy, usually every 2-3 nights.

We tried to not over dry our little ones skin. so we would bath every couple of days and just clean up with wipes or washcloth in between.

Infants seemed like we did do fresh pj's every night, but toddler every couple of days when they got bathed UNLESS there was a spill or leak , sweat or stink.

I change my own pjs nightly (at least shirt, but sometimes rewear the pants). I put DD in new jammies nightly and she gets a bath most nights, too. When she was a baby, she would get sweaty so I'd change pjs because they just smelled sour to me. When we don't have to go anywhere, we lounge in our pjs for a while. I didn't change so often when I was a kid, but I definitely prefer clean pjs now.

As an infant once in the morning and once at night. Definitely after his bath. Now as a toddler , I change once a day after his bath if he has been in it for long. If they are clean and worn just for the night, I use it for 2 nights.
Also, if he gets his clothes dirty , I change him immediately.

every night she gets a new pair and a bath every other night (unless she needs one). DD is a sweater and still wears a pull up at night so her bottoms sometimes has that urine funk. besides her pj's are so small its not going to make a huge dent in laundry schem of things.

My infant usually spits up or drools on her pjs, so every day for her. My son sweats a lot, so I usually have him change everyday also. Otherwise, if they smell okay, I think you can get a few nights out of them.

I put them in clean jamies every night. I also give them a shower every night. It just feels good for them to be fresh and clean and they sleep better that way too :)

My daughter (27 months) after every bath which is every second night and my other daughter (5 weeks) every hour LOL - but seriously we have to change the newborns clothes as she either pukes or poops or pees

every other night if they are in them at night and out of them before they head downstairs after waking up. If my 4 year old son stays in them on weekend mornings and there is some cat hair on them, then he gets a new pair. My 15 month old daughter on the other hand, sometimes every night if there are smelly from drool and every other night if they aren't wet and stinky from baby dribble.

Every night seems crazy to me. But, I don't wash my kids clothes every time they were them (I wash them when they're dirty) and we all reuse our towels a few times, too. IMO, washing them every day is a waste of (my) time, energy and water...but to each her own I guess.

I have always changed my girls pjs every night and never even thought about it until we were at my moms house last summer and she let me sleep in and took care of the girls (gotta love my mom!) She took of their gowns and laid them at the foot of the bed and commented on how they will know where they are tonight, so they can find them theirselves. Wow! It didn't even cross my mind. Duh.
Well, now with the sitter, we just arrive with them in pjs and she either sends them home in a plastic bag or if she is doing a load of her kids clothes, she will throw ours in too and fold them and place them in the backpack! Wow! I have a great sitter too! (I won't tell you how little she charges- someone would steal her from me!)

Usually every two or three days. If he's sick, I change every night and I change if he gets anything on them.

my 3 year old just sleeps in his underwear because i got tired of washing his sweaty jammies all the time. my 18 month daughter usually gets a new pair every night simply because she plays/eats in her pajamas in the mornings and they usually get pretty sticky by the time she gets dressed. they bathe probably every other day--don't have the money to pay the water bill for daily baths haha

In those younger years, it was new PJ's every night. (stinky diaper/toddler stage...lol!) Now that they are older, they wear them 2-3 nights sometimes.

I am honestly kinda shocked that people put clean pajamas on their kids every night. Unless the pjs are dirty from wearing them to eat or outside, I don't get it. If the kid is in diapers then I understand every 2-3 nights unless like I said, obviously soiled. My 4 year old son does take a bath almost every night though. But I only was his hair every 2 weeks. He doesn't smell and has short hair. Do you moms also wear new pajamas every night?? Maybe I am gross but we wear our pajamas for about a week if they are not soiled.
