Hi Everyone,

My family likes to dine out on Friday nights with a group of friends and we are a little tired of the "same old, same old". Does anyone know of any good kid-friendly restaurants in Sugar Land? Usually, there are about 10 of us, including the kids, so it would have to be big enough to accommodate our clan. We're looking for something locally owned, you know...that dive that everyone loves, but haven't found such a place yet. We're just bored with the restaurants we've been to and wanted to see if anyone had a suggestion for a great place. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, mamas!

Los Cucos in New Territory off of 99. The number is ###-###-#### and they are in the Randall's shopping center. We go on Saturday or Sunday evening with another family or two. The kids are fine to run around, they have some gumball and toy vending machines and the kids are safe there. The manager's name is Chillo, he started as our waiter there and was promoted - he is a doll! Plays with the kids, very friendly - my 3 year old daughter adores him. Good luck, and welcome to Southwest Houston!

We live in Lake Shore Harbour... that's right by the Sienna Plantation

My favorite place to go that is totally kid friendly is that Giant Panda buffet on 59 and 90alt. It has everything PLUS an enormous sushi bar!

I am a SAHM of a 19 month old boy and a 2 month old boy. Do you have a mommy's group you go to? I've been wanting to find once since we moved here but have no idea where to look!

We've been going to Cafe Adobe for years. The kids love to feed the ducks some chips. Sitting outdoors on the deck near the water they can roam freely and toss coins in the water fountains. The food is great. Best margaritas and relaxed atmosphere. They are located on Hwy 6 between 59 and Lexington.

Try Los Galitos in Sugar Land on highway 6 near TJ Maxx and the signature Kroger. They have a play ground that is fenced in for the kids while the parents enjoy dinner and a possible Margarita (for the non driving parent)! Our kids LOVE the food and we enjoy the break!

My family has been going to Lopez Mexican Restaurant. It is very family oriented. They have a balloon lady and it's not expensive at all. It is in Stafford. Go up Murphy (FM1092, past the railroad tracks at HWY 90 (South Main)until you pass under HWY 59 South and it will be on your left. Their chips and hot sauce are soooooo goooood! I love their fajitas, my husband always orders the Ribeye Ranchero. Let me know how it goes.
