Kid Dentist - Killeen,TX

My son goes to Dr. Shoptaw. They don't normally let the parents in the back with them, but if they child is upset they will. That only happened the first visit, but he loves the cartoons and video games available in the back. They also don't use needles, which he LOVES! :) The only problem I have sometimes is that he only comes to Killeen a few days a week and the rest of the time he is in Temple. They do accept TRICARE.

My kids and I go to Longhorn Dental, I love it there, they only see the "dentist" as little as possible, the quick check up and if any other care is warranted, they will let you back there wit them if you insist, I have had to walk out of others because they refused to let me be with my child during care procedures. the hygienists are wonderful,&caring. They explain everything the my kids before they do anything and they let them touch and explore. It really helps take the fear away. It does not take anytime at all to get an appointment, and they accept tricare. And...their prices for things not covered by tricare are very reasonable.

i have a 2 year old and a 3 year old. and i take them to stephen k. brant he is on w.s. young dr. he is awsome the office is very nice and all of his staff is also. the only thing i saw down was they only have one room for baby (like the 2 year old) and we ended up waiting for a long time. but they are quick and take tricare dental. i know because i am also an army wife who's hubby is leaving in june to go back to iraq aswell. but off subject the phone number for him is ###-###-#### and they have a website at www.killeenpediatricdentistry.com. he is awsome. you should give him a call.
