This is very personal but I will the need to talk to someone about this. My husband and I have been together for 12 yr and have always had a very good relationship, communication and sex. My husband seems to think with in the last 6 mo I have lost my desire for sex and he's right. I never want it anymore. When he tries, I make up some excuse. When I give in, it's great. No complaints. The problem I have is convincing myself I want to have sex. Once I'm having sex, I enjoy it.

Is there something I can do to get the desire back? I have gained weight and that makes me uncomfortable but he doesn't care (just me). I'm not depressed. I exercise regularly. My marriage is great so what's the problem?

What can I do next?

In case you haven't heard of adaptogens, they are a category of herbs that help the body deal with stress, restore balance, and support normal metabolic processes. (A lot has been discussed recently about adaptogens, even Oz on Oprah).

To learn more about fast acting adaptogen sprays and watch "The Story of Adaptogens Documentary" 10 minute video, go to VitalHealth.TunguskaMist.com

Click on the one called "Ignite". It not only enhances male performance, but also helps to increase libido in both men and women. Ashwagandha is an adaptogen that has been used for centuries in India to boost sexual desire in both men and women.

Hi H.,
I was also the same way after my second little boy... I saw my OBGYN. She gave me a hormone cream but it didn't really work.

I am not sure about your beliefs an dont' want to offend, but have you considered watching an adult movie together. Also (not to be too personal) but the KY Yours+Mine is very cool and takes things to an interesting new level.

Good Luck! I know that this is a tough subject :-)

What's wrong with scheduling it? You're not a teenager anymore and the hormones don't run rampant like they used to... and you have a baby to take care of which takes energy and so does sex.

Alot of mom's have the same feelings. We know there's a limit to our time and energy and we have to decide how to spend it.

So just schedule it into your week and it can be fun... not unromantic... you can make a code for it... and you can both look forward to "spaghetti night" or whatever.
