One of my pediatricians Dr. Zeballos (Childrens Community Pediatrics- group) was saying that sometimes it is the "Milk Fat" that seems to give the kids the problems. If they have problems on whole (especially if they had a lot of gastrointestinal issues) try 2% then 1%. After that there is a brand called "Happy Milk". It is milk that has the active cultures of yogurt. My son- who couldnt tolerate whole, 2%, or 1%- has been on "Happy Milk" since the end of October and doing great. He also hasnt had any issues with diaper rash since he started drinking it. If "Happy Milk" doesnt work then you can always go with "Lactaid". If that doesnt work you should probably go to soy. I hope this helps. Good Luck.
