Blue Man Group is great!!! Also, not sure where you are staying, but the Mandalay Bay is really nice and they have several wonderful pools, including a wave pool. Also, there is a monorail between the Mandalay Bay and the next 4 hotels, I believe The Excalibur, The Luxor, and NY NY. This way you can go to the other casinos if you want to. There is also a wonderful restaurant in the Mandalay Bay called Aureole. They have "bar angels" there, bartenders that are attached to cords that bring them up several stories of bar shelves to select different bottles. They look like they are floating. IT is pretty neat, even if you just go to have a glass of wine at the bar. Have fun!

We loved the walking around, people watching and whole environment.

Blue Man Group was a hit because we had our 13 yr old with us and we were on the front row!! SO COOL!!!! We are not gamblers so we enjoyed other stuff instead as in the dolphins at Mirage (I think) Mandalay Bay had an aquarium. We walked a LOT and enjoyed everything, however, we had a 13 yr old with us so we were limited as to how "out there' we went. We would have been a lot more "out there" without having a teen along with us. Party City it is!!!

Have FUN!

Hello, I used to live there and LOVED it!
You cannot miss the free fountain show outside the Bellagio. There are times posted on the guard rail, beautiful at night, I mean it, cannot miss it.
I loved the Venetian. Just walking through the shops was great, I loved the ceiling and the atmosphere and there is a great mexican rest on the canal there (try the queso fundido). If you can see Cirque d-Soleil, they are awsome. I liked the Mirage's white tiger exhibit and I think they had a dolphin show there too. I like the shops at the Alladin, nothing you can't miss but that was my retreat on the weekends, since it was new at the time. Take your time, soak it up and have a great time!
People wathcing on the stip was great and if you can swing it, take a helicopter ride, I wish I had.
Hope that helps!

We just got back from Vegas and had a great time. Our favorite freebies are the Bellagio fountains at night, Treasure Island pirate show, Wynn show, MGM lion habitat, Flamingo's flamingo habitat, M&M's world store, Circus Circus has circus acts, Ceasar's forum shops has two statue shows and downtown Freemont Street light show. The buses were an easy way to go up and down the strip and quite entertaining with all the people on them. We would ride the bus in the morning to the other end of the strip and walk back to our hotel and see all the stuff on the way and stop in the different casinos to play. All the hotels has buffets and restaurants so when we got hungry we would just stop in to eat.

I LOVE VEGAS! Lucky you. I go every fall for a convention for work. There are lots of free things to do. The hotels are awesome! There is a monorail that goes from one end of the strip to the other, or they have double decker buses that will take you up and down the strip very inexepensively. Try to visit as many hotels as you can because they are like miniature cities, themselves. Whatever you do, don't miss the Bellagio - the fountains are awesome! Inside is some the most beautiful italian marble floors and murano glass flowers cover the ceiling at the reception desk. Their conservatory has an unbelievably beautiful floral exhibit that changes with the seasons, and the buffet is fantastic. The Venetian has gondolas that float along the water, and you can watch them go by and hear the gondoliers sing, or take a ride and kiss under the bridge for luck just like in Venice! The MGM Grand has a lion exhibit, Flamingo has flamingos that roam the pool area and Mirage has white tigers and dolphins. Fremont street has light shows that are pretty cool, too.

The shows are expensive, but unforgetable. Cirque du Soliel has several shows. I've seen them all, O (Bellagio) is the best, Mystere (Treasure Island) is good, and so is KA (MGM), but Zumanity at New York NY isn't so great (it's kind of erotic, with nudity, but not as entertaining). Blue man group is fun, too. Penn and Teller have a great show, and now Bette Midler is at Caesar's Palace (she started since I've been there, so I can't vouch for it)

The view from the Stratosphere tower is unbelievable at night. The cocktail lounge rotates like Reunion tower.

I hope you two have a happy anniversary, and enjoy your trip!!
