Legit Work at Home?

Is anyone familiar with this company? www.colecovisionzone.com
They posted a work at home position on Craigs list that I responded to. A few days later I got a replay and was instructed to set up a yahoo account and add a certain contact. I did that yesterday and didn't expect anyone to contact me until Monday at the latest. But an hour ago she contacted me. She said the interview would take 20 minutes so I said ok. Now it is being reviewed by a "team." and she is to get back to me in a few minutes. Who has a team that works on Thanksgiving? Starting to get suspicious. What sign should I look for to tell if it is a scam? I now about cashier's checks.
Thanks, mamas!

It sounds odd. Why would you need to set up a different email account & add a certain contact? And why would someone be contacting you & interviewing you on Thanksgiving? I would be running from it, personally.

What is the job description? What is the rate of pay? Where is the home office? What is the phone #?

I just found this: http://www.complaint.tv/coleco_vision_zone_on_line_interv...

Sounds most definitely like a scam.

what do they want you to do?

There are many companies that work on Thanksgiving...call centers, 24 hour banks, movie theaters, etc....

If you have to pay to do anything - it would be a scam.

Check out their facebook account....the link that's on the website.

Find out what they want and expect you to do. DO NOT give them any financial information until you have an offer letter in hand.

Bottom line? Follow your gut. If something seems off - something usually is.

Sounds like a scam to me. Why do you need a separate account and contact?

This question is asked almost daily. Work from home is work... It's not being paid to be with your own children.

Most legit jobs would require you to have a separate office area and child care. I run my company from home I deal with some professionals who work from home.

If they even hint at you sending money you know it's a scam.

If you are promised to get rich quick, run from the offer. Nothing is free out there.... It takes works to earn money

They most likely want this new yahoo account to create spam. I would shut it down immediately!

Victoria, If they asked you for your bank account number so they could direct deposit your earnings, they may try to take money OUT of your account. If you gave them your account number, I'd call my bank and let them know what might happen. I hope this goes well.
