I have the Safety 1st Altura stroller. It is very light and has all the accessories. It is easy to fold and you can pull if you don't want to carry it. I got it at target for $50.
I am looking for suggestions for a light weight stroller. My son just turned a year and we are ready for something smaller, but sturdy. We would like to find one with storage underneath and a front tray for sippy cup and snacks. We use it everyday to walk our dogs, so something that would last also.

Maclaren strollers are great! They're pricy but worth the money. I haven't looked at strollers in the past 3 years so I'm not sure what's new out there. I bought my Maclaren used and I love it!
I don't know where you live, but Miracles Maternity in Gainesville has great strollers. Mine has lasted through 2 babies.
I have the Combi Cosmo EX I got at Babies R Us for $100. It's only 13 lbs and folds up tiny, reclines, with an underbasket, cup holder, window to see baby while pushing, and washable seatpad. It's our travel stoller and although it's new, we really like it. http://www.combi-intl.com/
My daughter is 16 months old and I purchased the Kolcraft - Jeep Cherokee Sport a few months back and love it. It has a basket for storage and a tray for snacks/cup. It also has a parent tray. I purchased it at Walmart for around $50. I use it often and it seems to be holding up fine. It is very light weight - much easier than my other stroller that was heavy and bulky. Good Luck - finding a perfect stroller can be quite nerve racking:)
Hi K.,
A fantastic light weight stroller is the Peg Perego Aria stroller. It only weighs about 9 pounds. It is so much more comfortable than the umbrella type stroller that some moms opt for in terms of a lightweight stroller. This stroller has received some criticism (I read this in the Babies r Us reviews), as some felt it fell short of what a full stroller can offer. If a parent with a newborn is looking for a regular stroller then there are better options. But a bigger baby is comfortable in this stroller, and it is easy to be out and about with this stroller. I have even travelled internationally with it. The basket is only medium sized, and if your baby is sleeping with the seat reclined it can be difficult to access. There is a snack tray, cup holder for baby and an adult cup holder. One thing that has put some moms off is that the cup holder for baby is not well secured and you may need to glue this. But I can honestly say this is the only technical assembly flaw. When I first bought this stroller for my newborn, I was a little disappointed and then bought a full graco stroller. But my daughter is now 10 months old and the peg perego aria is the only one I use when out and about and travelling. I hope this sums up the pros and cons for you. Good luck!
The Bugaboo Bee, you will love it!
