Chicco makes a great umbrella stroller that is not $ and is decent quality. Otherwise you either have the $20 ones, or the MacClaren or City MIni which are both $$.
Can anyone please recommend a lightweight stroller that isn't necessarily $20 but not $100? I have a travel system by Chicco, my only carriage. It's a good carriage but big and takes up a lot of space. A friend suggested the MacClaren Stroller but the least expensive one is still over $100.
My main purpose for a lightweight stroller is the occasional trips to the city and maybe zoos, parks and aquariums. Thank you!

Combi is the best! I used Combi's for my three children, as a NYC commuting mom, I needed something super light (think it's about 11 lbs), something easy and fast to fold (didn't want to miss those buses), and easy to carry (loved the strap which I strapped on my right shoulder). Loved it! I believe it was under $100
Good luck!

My sister in law has the Chicco umbrella and says it works pretty well for her and is under $100. I decided on the City Mini from Babyjogger myself because of the one hand fold and open option. It is also very durable, can really take a beating without a problem, however it's $200+
We, too, have the Chicco umbrella stroller (~$60 4 years ago) and love it. It's been all over God's green Earth with us on vacations, etc. and it's held up really well and suited the needs of our kids.
We keep it in the car all the time - the ONLY problem we have is 2 kids fighting over who gets to ride in it.
