I agree with the Maclaren - love ours!
We have chicco travel system for our almost 10 month old. We are travelling to Asia in couple months, so looking for a alternative lightweight stroller which is not very expensive but sturdy and comfortable for the baby. Have you used any lightweight strollers for travel and loved it?
I agree with the Maclaren - love ours!
Anything thing by Maclaren is a great buy. I have a Volo and even though it doesnt recline it is great and at $100 you cant beat that.
Maclaren is always a good option, however it doesn't recline fully. Another great option is the City Mini by Baby Jogger. Its about $225, so depending on how much you want to spend. But its much more comfortable for the child, has a large canopy, lays flat and is a true single hand fold. I have a Maclaren myself, but used to work in a baby store, and wished I had gotten the city mini. Good luck and enjoy the trip.
We have a Quinny Zapp that we loved to travel with. However, I rented a City Mini baby Jogger while in Disney one year and LOVED IT!! Although the Zapp is very small, super easy to maneuver and light for how sturdy it is, the City Mini can recline, has a very big visor, super easy to fold up so you can hop quickly on a bus/train/plane etc. Have fun on your journey!
** My daughter grew out of the Zapp around 3 years old... but fit fine in the City Mini at 4, so you would get more life out of the City Mini.
We have a Quinny Zapp and love it. It collapses so small, but the ride is great and it has the 5pt harnass and nice storage.
I would also say, maybe just one of those basic umbrella strollers might get the job done, though too. I think it depends on whether or not you need diaper bag stuff and want to keep it in the stroller. If so, the Zapp is great.
