i think at that age my daughter took 2 naps a day still and they were 2-3 hours each. she didn't go to one nap until 1 yr or so.

my 7 month old only takes two one hour naps. I am very jealous of this other mom who said her daughter has two 2-3 hour naps.

At that age my son was taking 2 naps a day. His morning nap would be about an hour and a half to two hours long. His afternoon nap would be for two to three hours or so.

As often and as much as you can get her.

J/K Sort of. Probably about 6-8 hours a day max, spread over 2-3 naps. Just remember that growth spurts and sleeping habits are a cycle. As well, I've notice my kids change their patterns with the weather.

My 7mo old takes them whenever he feels tired. sometimes he will take up to four naps a day and other days only two. It just depends on how he's doing that day and if he's in a growth spurt at the time. He's not on a schedule for naps, I just put him down when he starts getting sleepy.

your question makes me wonder if your child is having trouble sleeping. just in case that is true, i wanted to suggest that you google "sleep regressions." it has been exremely important for me to realize that babies and toddlers go through natural (and annoying) times when they don't sleep very well.
