Kelly is fabulous! She has a great eye, and really does a great job.
We are buying all new furniture for our big move and need a little extra help.
I'm having a hard time making sure it will all come together.
How do interior designers charge and do you know any local?

You might want to check out your local Pottery Barn. I am not sure if they still do this, but when I worked there 5 years ago they had a complimentary "Design Studio," (of course, the expectation would be that at least SOME of your picks for the room would be from their store.)
I can recommend a local woman that has worked with me, my sister, and my mom. She charges between 50-100 per hour, I think. If you contact her, I would ask her up-front so you know for sure. Her name is Diane Racine and her email address is ____@____.com. I don't have her phone number at the moment.
I think they charge about $50/hour, maybe less for an initial consult. Roxanne Essex is a local designer and can send you a price sheet. She has helped us with paint colors and window treatments. Very thorough and organized. Well worth the money because I'm clueless about those things!
I know two that I've hired and I am extremely fond of their work. Liz Arce, Visually Yours by Liz, ###-###-#### and Nancy Huber, Designs by Nancy, ###-###-####. Good luck and tell them S. sent you.
