Hi Tracy you sound like you need a little time off. Babies change lives in every way and at first it is very lonly. My husband and I have a 18mo little girl and a 3 yr old little boy. We work together and own a Houston lifestyle, arts and entertainment magazine. We would like to envite you to our next event on Satuday at Mbar on Main Street Downtown. Its a good place to have a few drinks, listen to some music and people watch. At least thats what I do :)

Id type alot aboout myself so you dont think I pushing my mag but my kids want to go outside so my myspace url is www.myspace.com/envybitch

If your not interested or dont want to go that far keep in touch anyway, and good luck.

I know how you feel, I just moved to Texas, Houston, from the very cold MA, after living in ther for the past 17 years, My second husband and I are separeted, still woking on the details, because he does not want to let go, he still want us to be together, he wants me to come back home, but I don't want to do that, I left him for a reason, and the reason still there, so no thank you. I have a 5 year old who is with me, and I have a 23 years old son who also lives here in Houston, those are the only friends I have, for dear God, I don't have a job, and I'm driving myself out off the wall. So I do know what you mean. How far away is your town from houston??. I became a member of MYSPACE.COM, but is free, and I being able to get connected with a couple ladies there, and trying to start finding some friends, you said you are not the church type, that is the other thing I'm doing, it helps into not feeling so alone, at least I see tons of faces on Sunday and Wed night, I hope at some point I will be talking to some of them. But if you want to we can talk as many times as you want, it will be nice to have a friend, and most of all a girlfriend. My e-mail address is ____@____.com, write as many times you want and I will try to make you company until you are back on your feet. Take care. And just walk one day at the time, is hard to get over a breakup, I was divorced once, and it seems I will go through that all over again soon. So being there done that. Keep looking to your little one get comfort from him and study, work, and make a better life for you and the little peron you have now. Bye for now.

Hi T., I live in Sugar Land. Maybe joining a gym would help. There is one off of Hwy 59 right past Williams Trace Blvd. that is really nice and lots of different types go there, professionals, singles, married, moms, dads, etc - not a pick-up place but definitely a place to have a chance to feel good about yourself by exercising in a great environment and socialization with others. Also, that area of town is close to heart of Sugar Land where lots going on - Town Square is real popular these days. Local papers Fort Bend Star and Fort Bend Sun have lots of "goings on" listed too. Bye for now.

Hi T.,
You might want to look on yahoo.com under groups.
You can find some good playgroups on there.
Also, on meetup.com you can find a good playgroup there too.
I hope this helps.
