Hey everyone,
I am looking for a good roofer. We had Hanson's out for a quote but they want WAY too much. I get their concept and their warranty is great but we just can't pay that much for a roof. Plus it seemed more like they were selling me something I already know I need. We are looking to pay out of pocket which is why we need a reasonable price. I was hoping to find someone fast, clean, and responsible. I do not want someone to come out and try to sell me a roof. I already know I need one. I just need a price.
Please let me know who you would recommend and why. Also, I would love to hear if you feel there is anyone I should stay away from and why, that would be great.

We got our roof done in the fall. We received three quotes and went with Weather Seal Home Improvements ###-###-####) who was referred to us by a friend who recently had their roof done.
There was no pressure, they gave us different options without telling us that it had to be done one way, educated us so that we could make informed decisions, and found problems that the other two roofers missed that ended up being quite crucial. Price-wise they were the middle bid. They were done in less than a day, cleaned up really well and the roof looks better than it did before.
Good luck and feel free to do a drive-by ; ) I know how stressful this can be.
My neighbor, in West Bloomfield, works for Mr. Roof. They did ours last year were great! He didn't try to sell me anything crazy and gave a good price. The workers were awesome and did it in one day (kind of tricky roof with new addition and stuff) George H. ###-###-#### good luck!
My step-brother owns his own remodeling and renovations business. He state licensed in the state of Michigan. He did our roof and did an excellent job. He does bathrooms, kitchens, additions, siding, ceramic tile, finish carpentry, construction services (of all kinds) along with commerical renovaions. His team is also a great group of guys as well. He also uses Livingston Gutter to do gutter work. Livingston Gutter does a great job as well.
