We used Dr. Brown bottles for our first grandbaby...but don't want to for this one. 5 pieces to every bottle is too much to wash. Have any of you moms used "born free" bottles?

What can I do next?

I use the Born Free as well, but just to let you know there is a valve that you have to use in each bottle. I tried not to use it and it leaked. So you still have 5 pieces to wash, but they are a lot easier to wash than the Dr. Browns. Since we travel a lot and the Born Free can take up space and hard to clean while traveling, we also use the Playtex Drop Ins, which my daughter also likes mainly because they are light weight and easier for her to hold herself. They are also an easy clean up since you throw out the plastic insert.

That's what I use and love them. I have never used anything differnet so I don't know if the bottle is great or if my baby would do fine on any bottle. There is only 2 pieces to clean instead of the pain of the Dr Brown.

Well I personally started my daughter on the sassy mam bottle but I hated it b/c of the pieces and she actually wasnt latching right b/c it was such a wide nipple, we tried dr brown but she didnt take to that one either.. she actually likes the evenflo comfi they are sold at babies r us, target, and walmart.

Born Free bottles are great. My daughter transitioned from Dr. Brown which I used for a few weeks very easily to the Born Free bottles. I highly recommend them. Cleaning was easy, and I had no leaking at all.

I would suggest Adiri bottles. It is two pieces and they are considered to mimic breast feeding better than any other bottle out there. You can get them at Babies R Us.
They are pricy but well worth the investment. My daughter used to even caress the bottle a little while she was eating. It is very soothing.

We used Born Free and loved them. We will use them for our next baby as well. Only challenge is Babies R Us couldn't seem to keep them in stock, so purchase in bulk!

I've only ever used Born Free and I loved them - but they have the same number of parts to wash as Dr. Brown's, so if that's the only reason you don't want to use Dr. Brown's, then you probably won't like Born Free either. :)
