Hi Mommies!
I was wondering if there are any 20 something Christian mommies around the warminster/hatboro area that are interested in forming a group or some kind of social circle. I'm 27 years old and work with my husband as houseparents at a local children's home. Our schedule and living situation (on the campus of the children's home) can be isolating at times. More so for me than for my husband, he has plenty of men to go and goof around with while I'm at home with our 1 year old. I don't have any like aged, like minded (hippy, attachment parenting, home birthing, breast-feeding activist, Christian) moms around here to lean on for support or just to laugh and hang out with. I know there has to be others in similar situations who would like to get the little one's together at the park or better yet leave the little one's with daddy's for a night out with the girls. If anyone's interested let me know...just tired of staring at the four green walls in my teeny-tiny apartment.

When I read you post I thought "Me, I want to be your friend", but I live in Morrisville and don't make it up to Warminster often enough to go to the park!
Let me know if you are ever down in this area. I encourage you to keep reaching out! It is so hard to not have a close circle of friends in a similar situation to you!
Good luck!

Sorry, but I don't live close to Warminster. We just moved to our area about 1 year ago and it has taken soooo long to finally get to know people here. I would recommend going to the Library's story time. We have met alot of other moms and kids there. Good luck.
Hi S. - I live in the Hatboro area and am the Coordinator for a MOPS group (Mothers of Preschoolers) www.mops.org This is a faith based organization that are formed locally in churches as ministries. My group meets at Gloria Dei Church in Huntingdon Valley and there is also one at Davisville Church on Street Road in Warminster. You can also search for other groups on the MOPS website. They usually only meet during the school year, but several groups do have activities during the summer. Good Luck and let me know if you would like more information about our group! L.
