Elizabeth's Cakes at Parker/Tollway. Best. Cakes. Ever.
Need any suggestions for a good bakery in Plano. The cake HAS to be yummy! I love Black Forest Bakery in Dallas (their Swiss Madrisa cake is the best), but wondering if there's something closer to where I live. I need to get a delicious cake for my son's three year old birthday party that both kids and adults will love. :)

Cakes Amore is wonderful! Really yummy, too. I have loved my experiences with them.
Oh, if you want yummy...don't get a cake with fondant. Yuck!
The Chantilly Cream Cake at Whole Foods is amazing!!
It is iced with chantilly (whipping) cream so it is not as sugary sweet as
buttercream icing & topped with an assortment of fresh fruit (strawberries,
blueberries, raspberries...sooo good!
Young & old love it!
Lucy,
I LOVE Delicious Cakes in Addison/(Near Beltline on Inwood Rd.) We have used them for birthday, shower and wedding cakes. If you go in, ask for Butch, the owner!
Sincerely,
K.
I have an awesome baker for you! She is an independant baker, but does the best cakes ever! We have used her for my daughter's last 2 birthday party's and the kids loved them and the parents were wowed. She even got some referrals that day. Her name is Tiffany Dyer and her Company is Iced Artistry. Her cakes are so delicious! She lets you customize the cake any way you want to, and she ends up with a creation that is exactly what you imagined. We did a Cinderella Cake the first year (it is the one pictured on the first page of her website) and a heart-shaped guitar cake the second year that she made to look exactly like my daughter's guitar. She can work within any budget you like, and I will say her rates are a small fraction of what the bakeries around town cost - my Mom used to be in the wedding biz, so I'm somewhat familiar. All I can say is I was referred by a friend, and have referred many other happy friends - you can't go wrong! And she will deliver the cake for you and set it up! Check out her website - it is http://icedartistry.blogspot.com. The first time I used her I lived in Plano, and the second time in Dallas, so she is pretty flexible. Good luck and have a great party! Oh, by the way - one of the friends I referred her to, that now uses her religiously, is an event planner!
