I'm wondering if any of you know of a good ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) doctor. I would prefer this doctor to be affliated with Edward Hospital if possible, but at this point, any recommendation will do. I was told a month ago, after being completely miserable and thinking I had the worst cold EVER, that I have allergies. The doctor found a polyp in my nose and I am no longer able to breathe very well out of that side. And now, due to the polyp, I can only sleep in one position at nightor I have to breathe through my mouth, which I hate. After a month, my sinuses are still swollen and I am unable to blow my nose also. Needless to say, I am fed up and want this polyp removed ASAP!!!! I would also be interested to hear if anyone has had a similar problem and how they handled it. Thanks so much!!!

What can I do next?

Dr. Leonard Piazza, located right next to Edward Hospital (on Washington, & whatever the street is at the light) Just google his name & it'll come up. My son went to him for ear problems & had ear tubes put in at 22 months. I would highly recommend him!

I used to work for Naperville ENT (many years ago), which at the time was Dr. Leonard Piazza and Dr. Rodney Caniglia. There is at least one if not two other doctors in the practice now. They are at 10 W Martin (corner of Washington and Martin) right next to Edward Hospital.

My daughter sees Dr. Canigula. He's great. Dr. Piazza performed my husband's deviated septum surgery. He's fantastic too. Both are affiliated with Edwards (as others have noted).

Hi,

My son sees Dr. Caniglia. He is affiliated with Edward Hospital (his office is actually right next to the Hospital). I think there are 3 Dr's in the practice, but my son(6) just sees Dr. Caniglia. Their # is ###-###-####.

Good luck,

Hi N.,

Sorry to hear of your allergies & nose issues..sounds miserable! We go to Midwent ENTs in Naperville. My son sees Dr. Kaszuba & my husband sees Dr. Donzelli. Both are great, although it can be tough to get into Dr. Donzelli. I've never had a problem getting my son in to see Dr. Kaszuba though & I've always been pleased with him (he did my son's ear tubes). They are affiliated with Edward Hospital. Hope that helps & hope you feel better soon!

Hi N.! I have a great ENT at the Dreyer Medical Clinic, Dr. Jagasia. He has done ear tubes on my oldest son twice and removed his adnoides(spelling??). Dr. Jagasia also preformed sinus surgery on my husband 2 years ago and on me this past summer. He is patient and kind and he actually LISTENS to you! I highly recommend him! Good luck! Here is a link to his website.

Hi N.. I'm sorry you're having a rough time. I was about 11, I think, when I had surgery to remove Polyp's. I was loaded with them. By the time I had the surgery, they ended up doing 4 surgeries in one. I had a deviated septum, polyp's, removed my tonsils, and for some reason I can never remember the fourth procedure. The surgery was really easy. I was terrified, but in the end, really didn't have much of a problem. Before the surgery I would keep my mom and sister up all night with loud obnoxious snoring, and now I snore a lot more quietly. The surgery is definitely worth it. I wish you luck and hope everything works out. I wish you good breathing.

Hi N.!

I highly recommend Dr. Andrew Celmer. He is part of the DuPage Medical Group and works with Edward Hospital. He has been my ENT for over a year and is wonderful! I had surgery from chronic sinus infections and a few other problems in September and I feel GREAT!!! He has an office in Naperville, Glen Ellyn, and Lombard. The number for the Naperville office is ###-###-####.

If you have more questions about Dr. Celmer I would be happy to answer them!

I second Dr. Joseph Donzelli, my daughter saw him and he was great, although you may have to wait to get in to see him. My parents also have seen him and Dr. Scott Kaszuba.

Dr. Donzelli is affiliated w/Edward Med Group. He put tubes in my kids ears when they were 18 mos. His office is off 75th in Naperville - the new building just west of Rickert. He's very good.
