I am looking for a new hair stylist that specializes in hair color, I like various high-lights and low-lights in my hair. I am looking for a new stylist that is close to Draper but I can travel father if needed and also one that comes highly recommended. The last two times I have been my hair has been breaking off at the roots so I need to find a stylist that knows alot about color and products.

This one comes very highly recommended!! I have used her since I moved to Utah 5 years ago. Not only do I know her, but her family and they are wonderful! Her color skills are outstanding, she even loves to fix other stylist mistakes :) And I've never had a bad cut....never. I come from California where the salons are pricey and marginal at best. If you found someone you liked, you felt trapped to go anywhere else and like you were paying ransome to have your hair done. Anyway call Emily Wagstaff ###-###-####. Her salon is in Sandy/Midvale - roughly 80th s and 7th e.

Hi H.,
I moved here from California. The first couple of times I drove back there to my stylist. Then I tried a box -I know...CRAZY! My hair was messed up! I got very lucky with a Stylist Manaz at Regis in the mall at 106th S. She corrected my color and every time I went to her for a couple of years my color was perfect -never a bad time. I then switched (it was hard) to Lynette at Kellie & Co. on 90th S only because a friend went to her and she is a little more experimental with color where Manaz is a little more concervative. I have been going to Lynette for about a year now. I love them both and highly recommend them both! Good luck.

I absolutely LOVE my Color Specialist in Draper, her Name is Angie Clark @ Salon Hope and she has saved my hair! She basically offers every service you can think of which I love. Before I found her, I had an awful highlight job where some girl fried some pieces of my hair till they were 3 inches long! ah! Angie fixed my color and put in a small row of extensions over those short pieces so you couldn't even tell it was thin there.
Anyway, she used to own the Salon and has like over 12 years of experience. all my sisters go to her now and we all love her. plus her colors are only $58 so that been great.
I hope this helps anyone who needs a great stylist! The Last service she just did on my hair was Brazilian Blowout Keratin Smoother and I would highly recommend that to anyone who wants easier healthier hair, i have loved it and had never heard of it before. Her # is ###-###-####
Good luck!

You need Lisa Terry. She works at Bella Mia Salon at 7661 S 700 E. Her phone number is ###-###-####. She is the go to girl for everyone else in the Salon. If they have questions, Lisa has the answer. You'll love her and it's worth the drive from Draper. She has clients who drive down from Wyoming!

I live in Highland, south of Draper in Utah Valley. I go to Lunatic Fringe on 21st south in Salt Lake. I see a stylist named Chris. He is wonderful and does color really well. My daughter and I have never had any problems. They are probably a little more expensive than others, but I think it is worth it. It isn't your average salon however. I would highly recommend it.

I am a hair dresser and let me give you a little bit of advice when looking for a stylist. Do NOT be afraid to ask questions about what color line they use, and what products they are using on your hair. There are MANY different lines and its all preference. If needs be, ask for a special appointment for a consultation. Ask about deep conditioning treatments that can be done at home and in the salon. Be honest as to what you are using as well. I would suggest using a DEMI color to help repair your hair if it is breaking at the roots and NOTHING higher then a 20 Vol. if they are using any bleach(and only on your regrowth). Do you like the color? If you like that and wish to keep that call the last person who did it and ask for the formulation or what color line she used so to help whoever colors you hair next to formulate it properly. It's okay to ask a lot of questions. I like Redkin Chemistry System, Paul Brown Deep Conditioning Cocktail, and AlfaParf's deep conditioning and oils.
