There was(less than 6 years ago) a good one that was in the Evergreen area in San Jose. I just remember that it wasn't far from the Great Mall. As far as I know it is still there.
My son is turning 3 in March and I would like to put him in preschool. I live in Milpitas. Any recommendations for a good part-time (2 or 3 half days a week) preschool around the Milpitas area?

Our kids are grown but we lived in Fremont when thyey were preschool age and we all went to Fremont parents co-op preschool. It was fabulous and required parent participation you should check it out it will be a wonderful experienc for the whole family.

Hi,
You can try Discoveryland preschool. It's part of the Christian denomination of the Seventh Day Adventist church of which we are members. It's off of Landess in Milpitas. I don't have kids in preschool yet, but our neighbor across the street had her son going there and seemed to really like it. And she was not a member of that church either. Good luck!
Have you looked at the community center? They have great preschool programs that are very affordable. We did part time for my daughter when she was 4 and she loved it.
I'm not sure if they have one there, look in the phone book. I highly recommened a "Montessori School" You and your child will love it. The way they teach children is remarkable. Both my boys started when they were 2 and by the time they started 1st grade they were much more advanced.
Hope this helps and I hope they have one in your area.
