I am looking for a good pediatrician in Sarasota, Fl. who is a friend to homeschoolers. I want someone who is not pushy. Thanks for your help.
Dr. Featherman in the Comprehensive Child Care group on Cattleman Rd. is a well respected doctor in the community. He homeschooled his own children. I don't think you would find him pushy at all. My kids love him. There are also three other doctors in the practice, all good. They have a sick walk in time for the first hour in the morning, and are open by appt. on Saturdays for sick care as well. Best of luck making your choice.

I agree Dr Sevilla would probably be a great choice for you. We see him with our two daughters and we plan to homeschool. He didn't bat an eye when we mentioned that to him.
Dr. Sevilla in Lakewood Ranch off University is fantastic. Very flexible with vaccine schedule... does not push the issue at all. We are waiting until my daughter is 2 before considering any vaccines and he was very understanding and kind. The office is brand new and very clean.
