Looking for a Kid's Hair Salon

I'm looking for a hair salon that is geared toward children. We had been going to a place in Simi, but the woman is unreliable, and has stood us up. We had an appt yesterday and when we got to her shop it was closed with a note on the door saying "sorry." Not cool. I would prefer something in Thousand Oaks anyway, and was hoping someone here had some good suggestions.

Thank you.

We like Kids Cuts on Moorpark road. I would ask for Diane she is the only one in there I let cut my kids hair. She has even cut my hair too. She never over cuts and will give your boys a style besides a buzz if you want. She is great. DON'T let the owner (guy with gray hair) cut your kids hair I don't like the way he cuts at all. Good luck.

ANITA'S HAIR SALON
on T.O. Boulevard, across from the Civics Oaks Plaza.
Anita is very sweet, and fast, she can do a boys haircut in 7 minutes.
She has games in the back like Ms. Pac Man for the kids to play while they wait for siblings or Moms' to get their hair cut. We've been going to Anita's since my now 16 year old was in preschool. She will probably call you honey or doll and give you a hug before you go. The only thing - when you call I often get the message machine. Leave your name and number, and she will call you back.
Let me know if you try her. Tell her Linda, Kevin and Chris sent you.

Hello S., I don't know if Northridge is too far for you, but I have been going to a place called Over the Rainbow for years with my son. It is decorated in Wizard of Oz theme, they always have a kid movie playing and everyone there is really nice. I go to Denise. I have even used her for my own hair. During the week days when most bigger kids are at school they all have some of their own adult clients - but it is really kid-oriented. ###-###-####. My son started when he was about 2 and is now almost 10. He won't let me take him anywhere else!!
